About the Photographer

History

When I was 14, I took my first photography class. The second I stepped behind the camera, I felt such a sense of peace and control. However, it was not until the next year when I solidified my passion for taking photos. At 15, I traveled to the Himalayas as part of a photography expedition. We traveled through the mountains and went to festivals, monasteries, and the Dalai Lama’s birthday celebration. During this time, I went from someone who enjoyed taking photos to a trained photographer.

In the eight years since my trip to the Himalayas, I have tried to find every excuse possible to take more photos. Every vacation, event, or walk, I found myself snapping hundreds of photos. However, for a long time, these photos have been mainly for myself, my family, and friends. Now, I want to share these images that have been so close to my heart with the world.

This Portfolio

This collection of photos was taken over the past 10 years in many locations and focuses mainly on landscapes. While I have taken many portraits and photos of people over the years, some of which are my favorite photos, I decided to refrain from publishing those photos due to anonymity. Hopefully, the portfolio on this website showcases how much I love being behind the camera.
